Players will be stealing, kidnapping, sabotaging, and eliminating--virtually anything you can imagine a criminal doing, a player will be doing on the streets of the Rogue Isles!

Lord Recluse’s loyal minions at GameSpot have been chosen to release exclusive new footage of City of Villains, revealing another section of the Rogue Isles.

Newcomers to the ranks of Arachnos can also view the earlier movies of Port Oakes, a Bank Heist and the Nerva Archipelago.

The long reach of Longbow

05 Aug, 2005

The arm of the law is long, indeed, and stretched further by the forces of the Freedom Corps, the superpowered organisation headed by the meddlesome Ms. Liberty.

Ghost Widow has encountered these foes before, and in tonight’s update to her Journal, she gives more information on these threats to the Rogue Isles:

Rifleman, Minigun, and Flamethrower units are as clumsy and brutish as their names would imply. Their Eagle units fancy themselves Marksmen, and I am told their Spec-Ops agents provide entertaining games of hide and seek for my Widows. Longbow also has several more well equipped units...

Discover more about these potential threats to your fiendish plans in Ghost Widow’s Journal.

Prison break!

05 Aug, 2005

Being a City of Villains, the Rogue Isles is often raided by the forces of good. Despite our best efforts, many are often captured and imprisoned as a result of these raids - and that is where you, being a novice in the art of villainy, will undoubtedly find yourself at the beginning of your career.

To give you an idea of what you might expect to endure behind the walls of Paragon City’s Ziggurat prison, we allowed correspondents from IGN to get locked up for a period, before being dramatically freed by Arachnos troops:

It seems that Lord Recluse’s favorite psychic named Kalimda had a fortelling that an extremely powerful villain would come from behind the walls of the Ziggurat in Bricktown (Paragon City’s prison). So Lord Recluse’s minions swarmed down, blew a hole in the wall, and freed a bunch of villain characters, including yourself.

Who is Captain Mako?

05 Aug, 2005

The FBSA, or Federal Bureau of Superpowered Affairs, has been consorting with the press once more.

Another apparent ‘leak’ has surfaced at gaming site IGN, this time dealing with the vicious Captain Mako, another of our Lord Recluse’s most trusted enforcers.

Delving into the background of Gideon Ray, also known as Mako, also known as Captain Mako, uncovered a number of disturbing facts. Ray is a mutant, born with shark-like gills and teeth.

In addition to information on Mako - including artist’s impressions - there is also additional information contained within on Barracuda, Mako’s delightfully twisted partner in mayhem. Go forth, and learn.
