Truly, Lord Recluse is a master of manipulation. First he allows the minions of IGN an audience and even deigns to answer some of their questions. Then he arranges for the very same journalists to ‘uncover’ a secret file from the Federal Bureau of Superpowered Affairs, knowing that they will unable to resist the temptation to share the document with the world - exactly as he intended.

Minions of gaming sites IGN and GameHelper have take their lives in their hands recently, daring to make the perilous journey to the Rogue Isles and undertaking the even riskier task of asking questions of our mighty leader.

Fortunately for the trembling journalists, the Great One has been in a tolerant mood recently, as his plans continue to unfold according to schedule despite the efforts of the meddling Statesman. As he explained when asked by GameHelper about the mission types available to aspiring villains:

The great thing about villains is they pretty much hate equally. They hate heroes, they hate other villain groups; they can even hate their own group, with factions plotting against each other.

IGN, meanwhile, was interested in learning more about Lord Recluse’s inner circle of ‘signature villains’:

Ghost Widow, Black Scorpion, Captain Mako and Scirocco have all been tested against other rising villains and each other. They have each shown that they have what it takes to survive within Arachnos.

In response to the secret footage of Port Oakes and a bank robbery released by the troublesome Statesman, our great leader Lord Recluse has chosen to reveal the Nerva Archipelago in a movie of his own. A small group of islands that lie in the international waters between Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, this area is home to many mysteries, as well as the headquarters of the LongBow organisation founded by Statesman’s so-called ‘sidekick’, Ms. Liberty.

Following from the video of Port Oakes supplied by the meddling Statesman, the minions of GameSpot now have an exclusive glimpse of an aspiring villain in action. The new footage shows one of our brethren recovering an item of mystical power for its rightful owners in what those constrained by the petty morailty of mundane society would probably refer to as a ‘bank heist’.
