Before purchasing a Good vs. Evil In-Game Items Pack, there are a few important things to bear in mind. Please be sure to read all of the following information:

• The In-Game Items Pack can only be used to upgrade an existing City of Heroes, City of Villains, or combined City of Heroes + City of Villains account. It cannot be used to create a new account.
• The In-Game Items Pack does not include any game time. It just upgrades your account with the in-game items from the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition.
• The In-Game Items Pack will not give players with a City of Heroes account access to City of Villains, or vice versa.
• Game accounts started with the serial code from the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition of City of Heroes and City of Villains, or existing accounts that have already been upgraded with the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition, will not gain any benefit from the In-Game Items Pack. These accounts will already have access to all the Good vs. Evil in-game items.

To purchase a Good vs. Evil In-Game Items Pack for your account, follow these simple steps:

• Sign-in to your PlayNC Master Account at PlayNC.com.
• On your PlayNC Master Account page, scroll down to the ‘Online Serial Codes’ section and click the ‘PURCHASE CODE’ link on the right-hand side.
• On the Purchase Online Game Code page, scroll down to the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition entry and click the ‘Europe’ button. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Submit’ and then follow the prompts.
• When you return to your PlayNC Master Account page, the serial code for your In-Game Items Pack will be listed in the ‘Online Serial Codes’ section. Make a note of it, then find the City of Heroes, City of Villains or City of Heroes + City of Villains account you wish to upgrade in your ‘Games list’ and click the ‘ACCOUNT DETAILS’ button beneath it.
• In the ‘Game & Version’ section of the Account Information page, click the ‘UPGRADE’ button, enter your upgrade code and click ‘ADD’.
• That’s it! Your in-game items will be available when you next login to the game.

Important notes:

• Make sure the account that you wish to upgrade is not logged into the game servers before starting the upgrade process.
• Due to anti-fraud and security measures on the PlayNC system, you may not be able to buy more than one code each day. If you wish to upgrade more than one game account, you may need to use a different credit/debit card for each code, or wait for 24 hours between purchases.
