Wow the samurai costume items look fantastic I cant wait to get my hands on them

I think that rewarding people who have played for a long time is ridiculous, your rewarding for time spent not for skill, and skill is what makes a veteran! I played this game 4 years ago and made 2 end level chars, ive just come back after 4 years now and started playing agen. Im more ‘veteran’ than any of the players who have been playing for even 24months! Thank you very much.

I believe also that this is just a ploy to keep people playing the game because your losing out now? This just might make me quit, and alot of others I know. Being a web and new media designer i’d expect better.

All i can say is WOW this looks so good! Well done guys n gals at ncsoft etc once again u have done us proud, proud to be villains and heroes! I cant wait for i8 to be released. I am hitting my 20th month and with all the new stuff u guys keep producing i shall look forward to a good many more months. Thanx for keeping us entertained and upto date!

Does this mean at the costume selection screen (when starting a new toon) &/or at tailors (in-game), we can choose these new threads irrespective of level? 

Veteran awards seem cool but 15 months active game play seems a bit unfair. i’ve been playing on-off for over a year and to be honest. most people properly in the same boat they buy new games and cant afford to keep subscription in use just to keep suppliers happy. i agree this game is great buy you cant play it all the time as you would get sick and tired of the game. you should had the wings to experince and skill,like when you hit level 30+. this just seems like punishment for people who like to try different games

i think the weteran system is something that should of been in a long time ago i have no complaints about the rewards so far becuase there a reward and some people like me do like to be rewarded for the time spent. An you to make a comment on David post if you dont like the veteran reward system then why bother continue playing the game? now you see my point the creators of city of heros bring top stuff out for us and all you long time hardcore players do is complain and im sure no one cares what you do for a living so bit of advice either enjoy the game or go out and get some fresh air and see the world

To be honest mate, if I just joined CoH or CoV I would not keep an active account for 24months just to get some Comic Covers (for base I probably wouldn’t have) or some new titles (on a level I hadn’t reached) the whole point of this is they know CoH is the major player any more. Atleast not so much with sales so they are thanking the PLAYING members, They are giving the recently players some new stuff and the long term players stuff for they base..this is clearly not a way to keep members on this is more of a thank you for being fans. And all you can do is moan.

Veteran is going through something,you cant really “show” skill,and being in the game 4 years is one hell of a feat being it started in 2004

to your idea this is to keep players,this is to reward them! its an ADD-ON,not like saying “We are going to keep you by giving you stuff” “We are going to reward players for their time in the game”

Bring Another year of reward next year so we can get the ones we missed out on and more heres a list i thought up for the 3rd year

27 months insect wings and robot wings, perminant shogun or frenzy mutagen

30 months Shape Chest details

33 months perminant life insurance (10 minute recharge)

36 months Zone Teleport (teleport to whatever Zone you want)

I think this is great! Great for cossy fanatics like me. Although the cheerleader gal and the Scottish guy look kinda gimpy walking. But atleast we can walk now! :D great job and dont listen to David, i mean thats just rude.. :D
