Villains clean up at awards

01 Aug, 2006

The power of evil triumphs in awards vote and takes home seven shining awards.

Rejoice brothers and sisters, City of Villains has once again been recognised for its irrefutable influence in the world of gaming. The World of Roleplayers Radio station recently held their first annual Wing awards, allowing the hapless public to vote for their favourite MMO games across several fiendish categories.

Rumours of these glorious awards were spread from tongue to tongue, whispering their way into the ever listening ears of the mighty Lord Recluse. A plot to steal the awards was born at once, and the minions of Arachnos slunk into the shadows, poised, waiting to strike. As night fell, the orders were given and Arachnos moved out. Those responsible for the chaos that ensued will be caught, mark my words…

It seems those meddlesome heroic do-gooders were also given a tip-off as they too closed in on the awards - as both good and evil clashed in the surrounding city streets, the ceremony continued, leaving both City of Villains and City of Heroes sharing no less than seven awards, including Best Retail MMO. If only they knew…

  1. Best Retail MMO: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  2. Best Customer Support: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  3. Best Server Management: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  4. Best Multi-Player Storyline: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  5. Best Content (Depth and Variety): City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  6. Ease of Newbie Learning: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)
  7. Best Character Customization: City of Heroes / City of Villains (Cryptic / NCsoft)

A boastful collection indeed, question is… who gets to keep them all?

I think that sums it up really, having tried other MMO’s I find this the most friendly and easy to use, and of course, the most FUN cool smile
