Sir,

I am writing to notify you of a concerning event.

As the lead communications officer, I monitor all radio transmissions across the Rogue Isles.  This morning, at exactly 0600 hours, all frequencies were interrupted.  A male voice identifying himself as ‘Gamester’ hijacked all radio signals for exactly 60 seconds.

‘Gamester’ spoke in what our head linguist described as pressured speech patterns indicating some level of psychosis.  The brief transmission ended abruptly at 0601 hours. 

In this radio address, the individual claimed that he will be placing potentially dangerous packages within our territory.  We are currently investigating the identity of “the Gamester”.  This illegal transmission was made from an unspecified location between here and Paragon City.  Suspicious packages have been reported by a number of agents and, although this individual is clearly deranged, we will thoroughly investigate the truth of his claim.

Hello holiday revelers!  I interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you… drum roll please [tin drum for approximately 4 seconds]... the holiday event you have all been waiting for!  That’s right ladies and gentlemen, I have created the grandest game ever played! 

As you awaken this glorious morning, you shall find presents scattered across your fine cities, awaiting those brave souls willing to take the risk of a lifetime!

Have you been naughty?! Or have you been nice?!  Come find out what fate has in store for you!  Tear open as many presents as you dare and unleash their inner secrets.  Maybe you will win a fantabulous surprise!  But beware, you may also be dealt a dangerous blow from an old winter friend!  Its all part of the Gamester’s Holiday Festival of Fun! 

[Maniacal laughter for approximately 6 seconds]
