Sharkhead Isle

Lord Recluse’s loyal minions at GameSpot have been chosen to release exclusive new footage of City of Villains, revealing another section of the Rogue Isles.

In the new movie, Senior Designer and Zone Director of City of Heroes and City of Villains Thomas Foss gives a guided tour of Sharkhead Isle, an area dominated by a massive mining and industrial complex.  Potential Arachnos recruits will get their first glimpse of a huge Freakshow fort, a floating Skyraider base and some of the unique monsters and other factions that struggle for control of the area.

You can view the movie by clicking here and selecting ‘Official Movie 3’.

Newcomers to the ranks of Arachnos can also view the earlier movies of Port Oakes, a Bank Heist and the Nerva Archipelago.

Excellent, although it would have been nice if several completely new sets of villains had control of the area, rather than another igneous-esque set of monsters, and the already ‘I’ve seen them far too much’ Council / S.Raiders / Freakshow’.

I like the idea of the randomizer for mob bodies tho, hopefully it will be implemented in other areas too.

I didn’t hear anything about whether villains would be able to steal some of that magic “Coral” for themselves when i watched the clip.

something thats made me curios is the deep pit with some kind of monster inside.

looks like a great place in general.
